west michigan area show

both my bf and i entered some drawings and paintings into the west michigan area show 2009. this monday it will have been a week since we submitted our entries. now we just have to wait to hear from them on if we got in or not. i'm super nervous, and i'm paranoid that they're not going to let me know even if i didn't get in, and i'll just be waiting to hear from them up until the deadline to deliver the pieces has passed. i just want to know. *prays* please let me get iiiiiiiiinn. i'm going to be super proud of myself if i do get it. it'll be the first thing i've ever accomplished in the professional art world.

summers are hot and humid, and the winters are bitter cold with lots of snow. the weather here can be all seasons and types of weather in one day. it changes at the drop of a hat. but other than that, there's some decent things here. it's just a little boring here, but you can find good things.

Hm, well even though you didn't ask I thought I'd share about my Florida weather. It's pretty ridiculous here sometimes. The heat is just way too much sometimes. But then the cool days can be a bit too cool. Since the whole global warming thing the weather has changed dramatically. I used to the like the climate but now it just sucks. I really like the snow, even though I've never actually been in or seen it. I've seen it on TV and animes and stuff and it seems really nice and beautiful. But yeah, Florida is very boring. Not much here but a couple of punks that like to piss you off. I live in Jacksonville and theres nothing but a lot of gang members who like irritate you and steal your stuff and then want you complain so they'll then have a -ahem- "legitimate" excuse to shoot you and piss you off even more. I hate Jacksonville, nothing but a redneck and asshole filled town. I've only met a couple of great people here. I hope to meet a whole group of better people when I move this summer or next summer.

Haha I will be ready. Clayton has told me a thing or two about the weather and it actually seems a lot more enjoyable than Florida. He even said that he would much rather prefer the Michigan weather over Florida weather now that he has been living here for about 2 years now.

So hows the school stuff coming along? Your in college correct? What year are you in now?

school is going well. i am in college. a senior at that!
